CPDESIGN is a freelance Industrial Design consultancy based in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, headed up by lead designer and founder Chris Peters.
Upon completing his Bachelor of Design (Industrial Design) at Swinburne University in '99, Chris has gone on to work for both small and large design consultancies in Melbourne and Sydney. With over eight years professional industry experience as an industrial designer, Chris branched out on his own to form cpdesign in 2009.
Chris has played a key role in the design of many products that have received accolades such as the Australian International Design Award, Australian Design Mark, and the International Design Excellence Award (IDEA®).

Over the years Chris has established a diverse network of skilled designers, engineers, suppliers and manufacturers, which has enabled cpdesign to connect you with the resources required to take your products from an idea, through to a working prototype, and on to become a manufactured product, all in a very short time frame.
Having previously worked for one of Australia's largest Solidworks reseller, Chris is a registered Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) and offers specialised SolidWorks 3D CAD Consultation, training, and advice on CAD workstations and Graphics Cards specifically for Solidworks users. Chris is also heads up the Victoria Solidworks Usergroup - Solidfacts
