Who are we?

CP DESIGN is a young, enthusiastic design consultancy based in Melbourne, Australia, founded in 2009 by award winning Industrial Designer Chris Peters. Over the past few years we have designed some great products for some great clients and we've loved every minute of it.

However, there comes a time when you think, isn't it about time we put some of our own ideas to the test?

In July this year we took one of our product ideas and posted it up on a crowd funding site called Kickstarter. Thirty days later, we had nearly double the funding required to get the project off the ground and we set forth to tool up, manufacturer, and ship our product out to all our 578 backers. A few months down the track and we have shipped 1,000's of units to over 30 countries and this single product has turned into a full time business.

Now what?

For the time being we are concentrating our efforts on getting our own products out to market. As you can imagine taking a product to market is a pretty big task so unfortunately we're no longer taking on any client work as we just don't have the time.
