New Tool Box Range for 1-11

1-11 are a manufacturer of tool boxes and industrial storage solutions. With increasing competition from inferior imported tool chests, they approached CPDESIGN to get a fresh perspective on how they could differencate their tool boxes from what was currently available on the market while also offering better features and styling and also looking at ways which would make the designs difficult to copy.

With the design brief in hand we went off and developed several design concepts for the defined tool boxes. The concepts were well received, so well in fact that 1-11 had trouble deciding which concept they want to go with first! With a bit of chopping and changing of features and design elements we agreed on a design direction to move forward with. The concept was evolved to suit the entire family of boxes in the range and photo realistic images were created of each box for market research and to discuss with potential customers. After nutting out the final details the boxes went into production and the first shipment was producted. Initial shipments sold out in record time and the new family proved to be a hit!
